Northampton Poetry
Northampton's only weekly open mike poetry night offers some of the best, most creative voices in the county. Every Tuesday. Come down and listen. Come down and share your words. Whether you do academic poetry, slam, spoken word, or haiku about how much you like cake, you and your words are welcome. Every Tuesday with an open mike reading, open to anyone who has something to say. Following every open mike is either a feature poet or a slam with a cash prize for the winner. The WWII Club is located at 50 Conz St., just off of Northampton's main strip.

Slam Free or Die
Slam Free or Die presented by Russian Roulette Productions at Milly's Tavern in Manchester, NH. This open mic poetry night is every Thursday from 7-11pm and there is a $3 cover. Each week, there is an open mic, and some weeks will offer featured poets and poetry slam competitions. Milly's Tavern (500 Commercial St) is located next to Arms Park. The show is all-ages and there is plenty of free parking! Please use the entrance on the side of the building facing the river. Come on down, recite poetry, tell stories, do free-verse, whatever! Albany Poets
Albany Poets is a local organization whose goal is to promote the poets and poetry of Upstate New York. Albany Poets hosts open mics, poetry readings, slams, music and spoken word events, and the annual Albany Word Fest to increase participation and attendance in the local arts community. Albany Poets’ website, www.albanypoets.com, is the most comprehensive resource in Northeast for news and events listings for poetry and spoken word. Albany Poets also publishes a free quarterly literary zine, OTHER:, which showcases poetry, fiction, art, and more from not just the Albany area, but all over the country.
Albany Poets mission is to give everyone the platform to share their poetry with the world. Whether it is at an open mic, on a website, or in print, Albany Poets strives to integrate poetry and spoken word into the Capital Region.
